A late summer sunset. Picture quality just doesn't do justice (phone camera). A refreshing bike ride non-the-less after a long day at work (back in the day I still had a day-job). Taken on the first training day of my official training program... if only all of my training rides were this relaxing.
A wet run near the peak of fall. A favorite neighborhood street to run along- Manito Blvd. Leaf color here pretty much goes from green, yellow, to the ground brown. Not much of the oranges and reds you see in Virginia. And it's only in the neighborhoods you see much color change at all. The predominant Evergreens throughout the area really don't change; hence why they're called Evergreens.
Along the Spokane River on the Centennial Trail. Enjoying a later fall ride between the Valley and CdA.
Another shot taken from the same location as the picture above... as I attempted to really capture the scenery of this ride.
Another training day along the similar section of the Centennial Trail. Notice the lack in color. This is more like what you will see much of late summer/fall for this section of the trail; lots of browns.
Today, our first snow fall here in town. Here we are on the south side of Manito Park, just a few blocks from my house, following a great long run in this light dusting of snow.
The other end of the snow covered duck pond; enjoying the beauty of the snow.
The ducks enjoying a chilly swim. And the little guy below standing on the frozen edge not so sure he wants a part of that.
